Job summary

Accenture is hiring a Manager/Senior Manager in Chicago to lead ontology work across engagements, shaping schema, taxonomy, and knowledge-graph design. You will oversee retrieval-augmented generation and the agent context engineering that makes knowledge actionable for clients.

We value hands-on experience with knowledge graphs (RDF/SPARQL and graph databases), agile delivery, and the ability to lead teams. Travel up to 100% may be required based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in knowledge engineering, semantic web, ontology design, or taxonomy/data modeling, with 1–2 years in AI/LLM work.
• Minimum 3 years with knowledge graph tech (RDF, SPARQL, graphs, SHACL) and graph DBs (Neo4j, Neptune).
• 1 year of retrieval-augmented generation and agent context engineering experience.
• 2 years leading a team or workstream.
• 5 years in agile engineering or consulting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead ontology work on a single engagement: schema and taxonomy design, knowledge-graph construction, RAG and agent context engineering.
• Senior Manager: shape method across engagements and fit assessed at interview.
