Job summary

Accenture is seeking a knowledge engineer to lead ontology design and knowledge-graph initiatives on client engagements. You will drive discovery, baseline industry patterns, and lifecycle management of industry engines within AI-enabled solutions.

This role spans Manager and Senior Manager levels, with travel 0–100% depending on client needs. Strong domain experience in insurance, media, or retail, plus Agile delivery and team leadership, are highly valued. Competitive benefits apply in the US.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in knowledge engineering, data modeling, or industry data work, with at least 1–2 years specifically on AI/LLM‑based work.
• Minimum of 2 years of domain experience in insurance, communications & media, or retail — at an operator, an analyst firm, or a consulting practice serving the industry.
• Working fluency with knowledge‑graph technologies and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Minimum of 2 years leading a team or workstream within a larger program.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in agile engineering or consulting teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead industry digital‑brain delivery on a client engagement: discovery and baseline of industry‑specific patterns, ontology design and build (Knowledge Graph and Data Taxonomy, in skill terms), and the lifecycle management that keeps an industry engine current.
• At the Senior Manager grade you hold authority across engagements in the vertical. We assess that fit at interview, not at requisition.
