Job summary

PowerSchool is seeking a Content Strategist, Knowledge Architecture to define and implement the structural foundation of our knowledge ecosystem. You will shape product content models, taxonomy, and scalable information architecture across our SaaS portfolio.

You will collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, Support, and Accessibility teams to ensure content meets product needs and supports AI-driven experiences. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in content strategy, information architecture, knowledge management, or related field.
• Experience in a SaaS or product-driven environment.
• Ability to design and scale content across complex product ecosystems.
• Travel occasionally, up to 10%, for team summits, training, customer meetings, events.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product content model, including content types, fields, relationships, and reuse patterns.
• Establish taxonomy and tagging frameworks to enable discoverability and targeted delivery.
• Design content structures that support retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), including chunking, metadata, and semantic relationships.
• Design scalable information architecture systems across products, personas, and delivery channels.
• Define standards for modular, component-based content authoring and reuse.
• Partner with Product, UX, Engineering, Support, and Accessibility teams to align content with product experiences.
• Translate product and business requirements into structured content and architecture solutions.
• Collaborate with Content Engineers to ensure proper implementation of content models and standards.
