Job summary

Ralph Lauren Corporation in Nutley, NJ is seeking a Technical Designer to create, maintain, and approve tech packs in PLM, guiding suppliers to production-ready garments. You will coordinate with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, and global sourcing to meet quality, fit, and calendar requirements.

The role requires garment construction knowledge, strong communication, and proficiency with PLM, Illustrator, and related tools to ensure accurate data and timely hand-offs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Apparel Manufacturing, Design, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong garment construction and manufacturing process knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Browzwear or 3D apps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain tech packs in PLM with measurements, sketches, and imagery.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all product data and build hand-offs from Design/PMT.
• Lead Tech Pack Reviews and ensure on-time, production-ready packs.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, and global sourcing teams.
• Support fit sessions, sample reviews, and calendar milestones.
