Job summary

Ralph Lauren is seeking a Technical Designer to create, maintain, and approve tech packs in PLM for samples and production-ready garments. You will collaborate with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, and sourcing teams to ensure quality, fit, and calendar alignment.

The role requires expertise in garment construction, strong communication, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, PLM, and related tools. On-site collaboration and global teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Apparel Manufacturing, Design, or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and apparel manufacturing processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and global environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure complete hand-off from Design/PMT with all components for a tech pack.
• Attend hand-off meetings, reviews, and milestone meetings as needed.
• Send recaps to align on pipelines, construction details, and next steps.
• Create/maintain tech packs in PLM using templates and standards.
• Document measurements, construction details, fit, sketches, imagery, and product data.
• Own Tech Pack Reviews to ensure accuracy in PLM.
