StanCOE in California is seeking an instructional aide to work under the supervision of a fully credentialed teacher. You will perform instructional activities and assist in intensified learning experiences while handling routine clerical tasks for instructional staff.
Employment is contingent upon fingerprint and background clearance, TB clearance, and proof of high school graduation. Preferred applicants have one year of paid or volunteer experience with multi-age groups of children.
DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Superintendent/Principal, and the direction of a fully credentialed teacher; to perform a variety of instructional activities; to assist in the conduct of intensified learning experiences; to perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel; and to do other related work as required.

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and skill is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skill would be:
Preferred one year paid or volunteer experience working with multi-age groups of children.
High school diploma and/or Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
Certificate of passing score on the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
A valid California teaching credential or a passing score on the California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST), may be accepted in lieu of the aide proficiency test.
Employment is contingent upon fingerprint and background clearance and proof of a recent negative tuberculosis test result.
