Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Knowledge/Configuration Management (KM/CM) Lead to safeguard operations and deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. The role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and disseminating information from diverse sources to support decisions at all levels.

You will develop SOPs, manage knowledge assets, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement KM strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or engineering, or 4 years IT experience in lieu
• Ten years IT experience with at least five as a technical lead
• Ability to work with leadership to plan and execute tactical and strategic efforts
• Identify challenges/roadblocks and drive resolutions
• Configure baselines for systems, services, diagrams, SOPs, and related artifacts
• Track and manage configuration changes and ensure proper documentation
• Manage KM repository with accessible, indexed, and permissioned content
• Support engineering by ensuring config assets align with baselines
• Location: At Customer Site – Herndon area

Responsibilities

• Provide current and emergent intelligence reporting to customers and disseminate products
• Execute and track intelligence sharing among stakeholders
• Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas
• Develop and maintain SOPs
• Create, capture, organize, and assess knowledge assets for enterprise use
• Coordinate KM strategy with cross-functional orgs
• Develop roadmap for KM implementation leveraging best practices and tooling
• Promote KM tools to facilitate knowledge sharing
• Assist with resource planning to strengthen KM initiatives
