Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC is seeking a Kitting Team Lead on a Fri-Sun 5pm-5am schedule. The role pays $23.92 per hour, with salary guidance reflecting experience and market conditions.

You will lead a fabrication team, drive safety, quality, delivery, and inventory metrics, and support continuous improvement. You will train associates, coordinate with the supervisor, manage orders, review drawings and BOMs, and serve as back-up supervisor when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of manufacturing or materials processing experience.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead by promoting teamwork, training others, and resolving production issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity metrics are met.
• Review orders and documentation to keep the team informed and troubleshoot order issues.
• Oversee production processes and ensure schedule adherence for timely fulfillment.
• Coordinate training and cross-training; provide back-up supervision when needed.
