Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC is hiring a Copper Kitter for a Fri–Sun 5pm–5am schedule. The role supports assembly teams by kitting and pulling copper and steel parts and related purchases for jobs.

You'll read travel documents and blueprints to locate parts, identify missing items, and communicate with teammates to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. Prior forklift/crane experience is a plus; training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience operating forklifts and cranes or willingness to learn.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams or instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pull copper, steel or purchased parts from warehouse for assembly.
• Reorder parts as needed and deliver to assembly teams.
• Identify root causes for missing parts and communicate issues promptly.
• Ensure quality through measurements and visual inspections.
