Job summary

Dover Food Retail is hiring an Assembler II - Kitting to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within our production environment. You will read job orders and BOMs, assemble parts, and ensure timely delivery of supplies to meet production schedules.

The role requires teamwork, the ability to read blueprints, use handheld tools and measuring devices, and a proactive problem-solving attitude. This is a second shift position with a safety-first mindset and commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints or schematic drawings.
• Proficiency with handheld tools and measuring devices.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow job orders and BOMs to assemble parts.
• Arrange for delivery and assembly of supplies to meet production schedules.
• Move totes to tables and verify parts, then place in correct locations.
• Consult with supervisors to assess progress and adjust as needed.
• Identify maintenance needs on equipment and tooling.
• Work at different workstations per production demands.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Use safety equipment appropriate for each operation.
