Dover Food Retail is seeking an Assembler II - Kitting to support our Operations department on 2nd shift. You will read job orders and BOMs, coordinate delivery and assembly of parts, and move materials to meet production schedules. You’ll work across stations, identify equipment needs, and maintain a safe, orderly work area with hand tools and measuring devices.

The role emphasizes teamwork, learning quickly, and a can-do attitude to ensure accurate parts flow and on-time production.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to support assembly.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend a job order and BOM.
• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies to expedite flow.
• Move totes to tables, check parts, and move parts to shelves.
• Confer with supervisors to assess progress and discuss changes.
• Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Use proper safety equipment and apparel for each operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
