Job summary

Babylist is seeking a Kitting Operations Supervisor for our Commercial Point, Ohio fulfillment center. This hands-on role leads a kitting team, staffs and sequences work, and ensures accurate, fast and safe assembly. Core hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, with typical pre/post shift flexibility.

You will build SOPs, monitor metrics, train staff, and collaborate with fulfillment leadership to meet throughput goals while maintaining safety and quality on the line.

Qualifications

• Direct experience running or supervising a kitting or assembly line.
• Ability to write and implement SOPs for assembly workflows.
• 5+ years in a leadership role, 3+ years in warehousing or manufacturing.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to read production metrics.
• Experience with WMS or ERP systems to track inventory and staffing.
• Experience documenting performance and working with HR when needed.
• Safety-conscious with a hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Run the kitting line day-to-day, including staffing, sequencing, and quality checks.
• Develop and refine SOPs to maintain consistency with volume changes.
• Monitor output and accuracy metrics; diagnose and fix root causes.
• Train and coach a team of associates on assembly and kitting workflows.
• Flag and document employee relations issues and escalate to HR as needed.
• Collaborate with fulfillment leadership to align with overall throughput goals.
• Provide backup leadership across other operational areas when needed.
