Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a Kitting Coordinator to manage stock tickets, material sorting, and kit preparation in our Minnesota facility. You will coordinate with planners, update SAP statuses, and expeditiously resolve issues to keep kits on schedule.

The role requires SAP familiarity, forklift experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel/Word. A safety‑minded, organized individual who can work independently is ideal.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to perform arithmetic with measurements (fractions/decimals).
• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent; read bar graphs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of the Internet.
• Knowledge of SAP and basic system functions.
• Previous forklift/cherry picker experience.
• Basic safety knowledge (lifting techniques).

Responsibilities

• Pull Your Own Stock Tickets Daily and correct quantity issues.
• Verify and sort materials as received for Spot K-901.
• Sort materials by Kit by Work Order Number.
• Communicate status with Planners and Material Coordinators by phone and email.
• Research and reconcile material issues in SAP.
• Keep kits near requirement dates and assist with delivery statuses/expediting.
• Research, call and email vendors for delivery status/expediting.
• Update kit status in SAP and notify area when ready to deliver.
• Return unused material to stock.
• Run Kits using Tractor, Forklift, Van or Golf Cart.
