Job summary

American Rheinmetall in Plymouth, MI, is seeking a Kitting and Materials Coordinator (Nights) to perform regular cycle counts and maintain data integrity across inventory systems.

You will implement physical counts, follow up on discrepancies, aid in kit building, and use ERP systems (Plex knowledge preferred) with Excel for reporting. Forklift operation may be required and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Higher Education Degree or Technical School Certificate is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in heavy military assembly and or vehicle assembly.
• Experience with assembly on Commercial Vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory data accuracy and reduce valuation fluctuations.
• Implement small- and large-scale physical inventory cycle counts.
• Follow up on cycle counts and report root cause discrepancies.
• Aid in kit building to provide lineside parts for daily operations.
• Use ERP systems; Plex knowledge preferred for inventory control.
• Ability to obtain a PIV license to move material within facilities.
• Basic Excel functions for reports.
