Job summary

Keel, based in Michigan, is seeking a Materials/Inventory Coordinator to organize and expedite shop orders as part of the kitting process. The role impacts material costs, throughput, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements include a high school diploma or associate degree, 3 years in manufacturing or accounting, and strong ERP skills. Occasional travel between facilities may be needed. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Associates degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in manufacturing environment or accounting field, with strong computer skills, esp. with ERP systems.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Organization of shop orders to be kitted.
• Kitting shop orders for “on time start” via BOM. Priority established by FAB “on time start”.
• Material retrieval from receiving and primary operations.
• ERP accuracy and maintenance within kitting.
• Issuing materials per shop order to support on time of start of kits.
• Kitting organization and maintenance in the kitting area.
• Count adjustments and scraping of shelf inventory in ERP system.
• Quarterly cycle counts on primary and component parts.
• Job pack assembly and distribution to the processing area.
• Scanning of completed shop orders into ERP system.
