Job summary

Shoals Technologies is seeking a Kitting Supervisor in Portland, TN to lead daily kitting operations within the warehouse and ensure timely, accurate material delivery for production schedules.

You will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate workloads, maintain inventory accuracy, and drive improvements in kitting processes while partnering with Production, Materials, and Planning teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of warehouse/materials/inventory control/logistics experience.
• 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading employees in fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing settings.
• Experience using ERP/WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily kitting activities to support production schedules.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop kitting and warehouse team members to meet safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy goals.
• Assign daily work and adjust staffing based on production needs.
• Ensure materials are correctly picked, verified, and staged for production.
• Verify kits have correct part numbers, quantities, and documentation before release to production.
• Monitor schedules, pick lists, and BOMs to prioritize kitting activities.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Inventory Control, and Materials teams to resolve shortages and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate physical and system inventory for components, staged kits, and WIP materials.
• Record inventory transactions and transfers in ERP/WMS systems.
• Support cycle counting and reconciliation activities and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor kitting accuracy, productivity, and on-time completion.
