  • Lead, coach, train, and develop kitting and warehouse team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy expectations.
  • Assign daily work activities and adjust staffing and priorities based on production requirements and changing business needs.
  • Ensure materials are accurately picked, verified, consolidated, labeled, staged, and delivered to the appropriate production areas.
  • Verify kits contain the correct part numbers, quantities, materials, and documentation before release to production.
  • Monitor production schedules, work orders, pick lists, and bills of material (BOMs) to prioritize kitting activities.
  • Coordinate with Production, Planning, Inventory Control, and Materials teams to identify and resolve shortages, missing components, inventory discrepancies, or other material issues.
  • Maintain accurate physical and system inventory for components, staged kits, and work-in-process materials.
  • Ensure inventory transactions, material transfers, adjustments, returns, and other warehouse activities are accurately recorded within ERP/WMS systems.

  • Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions related to material shortages, incorrect kits, inventory discrepancies, and production delays.
  • Maintain organized and clearly identified staging and kitting areas using established workplace organization standards.
  • Ensure all employees follow company safety policies, procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety observations and reinforce proper material-handling practices.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained in warehouse equipment, processes, systems, and standard work.

  • Perform other warehouse and materials-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse, materials, inventory control, logistics, or related manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or materials environment.
  • Experience leading employees in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of kitting, picking, staging, material handling, inventory control, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience working with manufacturing production schedules, work orders, pick lists, or bills of material (BOMs).
  • Experience using ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and material movement practices.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
