Job summary

CoAspire, LLC in Northern Virginia is seeking an inventory control specialist to manage secure stockroom operations, perform cycle counts, and deliver production kits for weapon systems assembly. You will ensure traceability, accuracy in ERP/PLM systems, and compliance with ITAR and AS9100 in a fast-paced defense setting.

Ideal candidates have 2–10 years in inventory control, familiarity with ERP/PLM tools like Dynamics 365 or WindChill, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years in inventory control, stockroom management, or materials handling in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in supply chain/logistics a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/PLM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, WindChill) for transactions, cycle counting, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail with proven high inventory accuracy in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with defense/aerospace standards including ITAR, AS9100, ESD handling, and shelf-life management.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic material handling equipment.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance (active clearance a plus).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills in a team-oriented production setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the secure parts cage/stockroom, organize storage locations, and enforce access controls for sensitive items.
• Perform periodic counts, full physical inventories, and resolve discrepancies for 100% ERP/PLM accuracy.
• Pull, verify, kit, stage, and deliver materials to production work centers based on build schedules.
• Issue materials in ERP with full traceability for lot/serial-controlled items.
• Monitor stock levels, identify low-stock conditions, and initiate replenishment requests.
• Support production by resolving shortages and coordinating substitutions with engineering/QA.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, AS9100, ESD handling, and other specs during storage and handling.
• Perform receiving inspections and update records for incoming materials.
• Suggest stockroom layout and kitting process improvements.
