Intellisense Systems, Inc. in Southern California is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain physical inventory using our ERP system and support the manufacturing team with material handling and kitting for multiple production lines.

You will perform inventory control, material processing, and cycle counts to AS9100 standards, on-site in Torrance, collaborating with production and purchasing to ensure smooth material flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in a high-tech manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience with inventory control in electronic/high-tech manufacturing.
• Hands-on ERP transactions and material processing; Costpoint a plus.
• Ability to kit from kit lists, work orders and production docs.
• Detail-oriented with strong inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and perform kitting for production projects.
• Prepare inventory balance, kit completeness, and shortage reports.
• Investigate variances between reports and physical inventory.
• Record inventory activity and execute ERP transactions accurately.
• Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with ISI support, production, and purchasing to manage material flow.
• Other duties as assigned.

In this role, you will maintain physical inventory using our internal ERP system, assist the manufacturing team with material handling, and perform kitting for multiple production lines. We are open to hiring either the Inventory Clerk or Inventory Specialist level, depending on your experience the responsibilities, title, and pay will be matched to the level you qualify for.

Location: Torrance, CA 90501 (On-site)

Primary Responsibilities

• Pull parts per pick list and build kits for production in accordance with established AS9100 procedures
• Issue finished goods against sales orders
• Record inventory activity and complete required ERP transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform inventory audits and cycle counts
• Support inventory replenishment activities as required

Inventory Specialist level, in addition:

• Prepare reports such as inventory balance, kit completeness, and shortages
• Investigate and resolve variances between inventory reports and physical inventory
• Work closely with production and purchasing coordinators/planners to manage material demand and supply flow

Qualification Guidelines

Inventory Clerk (Minimum Qualifications)	Inventory Specialist
High School Diploma or GED required	High School Diploma or GED required Associate degree in a relevant field preferred
Strong attention to detail and focus on inventory accuracy	3–5 years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing/production environment
Basic computer proficiency; willingness to learn ERP transactions	Hands-on ERP experience with material processing and inventory transactions; Costpoint experience a plus
Ability to kit material accurately from kit lists, work orders, and related production documentation	Demonstrated ability to investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies between system records and physical inventory
Self-starter who works well independently and proactively seeks out next tasks	Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word are expected at both levels.

Compensation:$19/hr. – $28/hr., depending on level and experience. (Base rate - DOE)
