Job summary

CoAspire, LLC in Manassas, VA is seeking a procurement professional to manage the full lifecycle of materials and services for defense weapon system production. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management to ensure on-time, compliant, cost-effective purchases while adhering to FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and company procurement standards.

Responsibilities include RFQ processes, price analysis, supplier relations, and cross-functional collaboration on make-vs-buy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field.
• 3–10 years of procurement experience in defense/aerospace environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FAR/DFARS, ITAR, government contracting flow-downs, and compliant purchasing systems.
• Proven negotiation skills with experience in cost/price analysis and supplier management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance (active clearance strongly preferred).
• Comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing setting with occasional supplier visits or audits.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase parts, electronics, composites, raw materials, and subcontracted services in support of contracts.
• Issue RFQs, perform price/cost analysis, and negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and long-term agreements.
• Place and manage purchase orders, expedite deliveries, resolve supplier discrepancies, and maintain procurement records in the ERP/PLM system.
• Ensure all procurements comply with FAR/DFARS, ITAR export controls, TINA and company regulations.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, conduct supplier performance evaluations, and identify new sources for strategic materials.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality on make-vs-buy decisions, supplier approvals, flow-down of requirements, and non-conformances.
