Job summary

Custom Interface in Washington, DC is seeking a Material Control Specialist to receive, inspect and stock material, and to pull parts for kitting work orders to meet the production schedule.

This role also handles packaging for shipping, maintains ERP documentation, performs cycle counts, and ensures kit integrity to support manufacturing builds. Candidates should be detail-oriented with strong math and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be detail oriented with neat and tidy work.
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, unpack and inspect material into inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
• Pull and assemble kits to meet the production schedule.
• Coordinate with Quality for inspections and returns.
