Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly customer service and maintain a clean, stocked deli area. No experience needed—we will train you.

You will prepare deli items, assist with the cafe and coffee stations, and help ensure food safety while working in a team-oriented environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including menu questions and addressing customer needs.
• Accurately prepare deli products such as salads, sandwiches, wraps and parfait cups following guides.
• Follow food safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier or Facility Maintenance may occur.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• General customer service and deli upkeep during shifts.
• Prepare and package deli items per guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and stocking of deli, coffee, and fountain bars throughout the shift.
• Assist other team members and support leadership when needed.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.


• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.


• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
