Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Knightstown, IN is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to provide friendly service, prepare deli items, and maintain a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? Training is provided to help you start strong.

You will interact with guests, support store teams, and follow food safety guidelines while lifting up to 25 pounds and working in varying temperatures. Love's offers growth opportunities and supportive onboarding.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes and food handling guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful customer service at the deli counter.
• Prepare deli items per guides, including salads, sandwiches, and parfaits.
• Maintain cleanliness and stocked deli area and beverage bars.
• Cross-train in other duties such as cashier or maintenance as needed.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.


• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.


• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
