Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to provide friendly, efficient service in a busy deli area. You will greet customers, prepare deli items, and keep the area clean and stocked. No experience? Training is provided!

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced deli environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties, answering questions about menu offerings, and assisting with deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Prepare deli items per preparation guides, including salads, sandwiches, wraps, and parfait cups.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.


• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.


• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
