Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Kitchen Team Member in the United States. You will interact with customers, keep the deli stocked, and deliver top-notch service. No experience is required—we will teach you and provide training.

The role involves preparing deli items, assisting with bar areas, and potentially cross-training in other duties. Expect physical tasks like lifting and working in different temperatures.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products per guides: salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use various methods and technologies to ensure compliance with company policies and food safety procedures.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
