Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced deli environment. You will prepare deli items, assist with cleaning and restocking, and help maintain safe food practices. No prior experience is required, and we provide training.

The role may involve cross-training in other store areas as needed. We offer tuition assistance, benefits after 30 days, 401(k) with company match, and opportunity for career growth while supporting a flexible

• Willingness to assist in multiple store areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties, answering menu questions and addressing customer needs; assist cashier team members with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings.
• Prepare deli products per guides: salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Follow company policies to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Possibility of cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
