Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Napoleon, OH is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly, fast service and maintain a clean deli area. You will assist customers, prepare deli items, and support the cashier team as needed. Training is provided, no prior experience required.

This role offers flexible scheduling, PTO, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide fuel-retail network. Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures is expected.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about menu offerings and assist customers.
• Help maintain deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings.

• Follow food safety policies and procedures.
• Cross-train in other roles as needed.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
