Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member in Ely, NV to deliver friendly customer service, keep the deli area stocked and clean, and help customers with menu items.

No experience? No problem—we train you. You must be able to lift 25 pounds and work in varying temperatures while providing fast, accurate service. Benefits include tuition assistance and medical/dental/vision after 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer menu questions, assist deli and coffee bars.

• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the deli area.
• Support store cashier team during peak hours and restock as needed.
• Flex tasks across departments as needed.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
