Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Bellefontaine, OH is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly, high‑quality service and keep the deli area clean and stocked. No experience? No problem—we provide training and growth opportunities.

You will prepare items like salads, sandwiches, and parfaits, assist with cashier tasks, and may cross‑train in other departments. You’ll work with a team and adapt to various temperatures, with the ability to lift 25+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings.
• Accurately prepare deli products per preparation guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups).
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
