Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly service, keep the deli area clean, and help guests with menu questions.

No prior experience is required—we will train you. You will prepare deli items, assist with coffee and fountain bars, and support cross‑training in other departments.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability to temperature changes, and a positive attitude as part of a long‑standing, community‑driven company.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about menu offerings and assist store cashier team in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
