Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member in Holly Springs, MS. You will provide friendly customer service, help prepare a variety of deli items, and keep the deli area clean and stocked throughout shifts.

No previous experience is required; we will train you. You will join a team that values safety, efficiency, and meeting the needs of professional drivers and travelers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service for deli offerings and assist cashiers in maintaining deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Prepare deli items per guides, including salads, wraps, fruit, parfait cups, and more.
• Ensure food safety and cleanliness by following company procedures and policies.
• Assist in other departments as needed and be willing to cross-train.
• Lift and move up to 25+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
