Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Kansas is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, prep deli items, and keep a clean, well-stocked area while following safety standards.

No experience is required—we will train you and help you grow within the team. This role offers benefits such as tuition assistance, paid time off, flexible scheduling, a 401(k) match up to 5%, and medical/dental/vision insurance after 30 days.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and customer needs.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products per preparation guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups).
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
