Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to help deliver friendly customer service and maintain a clean, stocked deli area. No experience is required as training will be provided.

You will prepare deli items and assist other team members while following food safety guidelines. The role may involve cross-training in other store duties and lifting up to 25+ pounds in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service and answer questions about menu offerings.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Prepare deli products according to designated preparation guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc).
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-train in additional roles such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
