Love's Travel Stops in Hillsboro, TN is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly customer service while keeping the deli area clean, stocked, and inviting.

No experience? No problem— we will teach you. You will prepare deli items such as salads, sandwiches, wraps, and parfaits, follow food-safety guidelines, and may cross-train in other store roles.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties in the deli and assisting store cashier team members with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings.
• Prepare deli items per guides: salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Follow company policies and food-safety procedures to maintain proper conditions.
• Cross-training possible in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
