Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to greet customers, prepare deli items, and keep the deli area clean and well-stocked. No experience? Training is provided as part of our supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with menu questions and product offerings.
• Prepare deli items per guides (salads, sandwiches, fruit cups).
• Maintain clean, stocked deli and beverage areas throughout shift.
• Cross-train in other roles such as cashier or maintenance as needed.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
