Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Alabama is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly service, answer menu questions, and keep the deli area clean and stocked throughout shifts.

No prior experience is required—we provide training. You will prepare salads, sandwiches, fruit cups, and wraps, following food-safety guides, with opportunities to cross-train in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• No experience? Training provided.
• Ability to follow prep guides and food-safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the deli and beverage bars.
• Prepare deli products according to guides (salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruit cups).
• Maintain clean, stocked deli area and assist cashier team as needed.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier or Maintenance.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top‑notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
