Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Dunn, NC is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly, efficient service and maintain a clean, well‑stocked deli area. No experience? We will teach you and help you grow with on‑the‑job training.

You will prepare deli items, assist with store operations, and learn food safety practices while working with a team that values dependable service and a positive attitude. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Potential cross-training in other store roles such as cashier or maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, stocked deli area and comply with safety standards.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top‑notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
