Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our quick‑service deli team. No experience required—training is provided to help you learn prep, food safety, and customer service fundamentals.

You will handle general duties, prep deli items, maintain a clean, stocked area, and assist in other departments as needed. The role offers benefits and advancement opportunities in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
