Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Deli Host who will interact with customers and keep the deli area clean and stocked while providing top-notch service. No prior experience is required, as training will be provided.

You will learn deli preparation, assist with the cafe and fountain areas, and may cross-train in other store roles. The job involves lifting up to 25 pounds and working in varied temperatures, with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about menu offerings and assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups).
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
