Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Deli Host to brighten customers' days with friendly service and a clean, stocked deli area. You will assist with deli prep, maintain coffee and fountain bars, and help the cashier team as needed. Training is provided, and you will learn through on-the-job guidance.

No prior experience is required; we will teach you and support your growth within a family-owned, nationwide network of travel stops.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings during the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products such as salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps, and parfait cups per preparation guides.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs.
• Assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.).
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure compliance with policies and food safety standards.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
