Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Deli Host in Alabama to deliver friendly, efficient service, answer questions about menu offerings, and keep the deli area clean, stocked, and welcoming for customers throughout the shift. You will prep items and assist with related duties in a fast-paced setting.

No experience is required—we will teach you. You’ll have opportunities to cross-train, grow within the company, and benefit from competitive pay and benefits as part of this family-owned operation.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service and answer questions about menu offerings.
• Prepare deli products according to guides (salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruits).
• Maintain deli, coffee, and fountain bars in a clean, stocked condition with proper food safety.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed (Store Cashier, etc.).

As a Deli Host, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
