Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Hope Hull, Alabama is seeking a friendly Deli Host to deliver top-notch customer service. You will keep the deli area clean and stocked and we will teach you—no experience required.

As a Deli Host, you will prepare deli items per guides, assist the cashier team with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars, and adapt to varying temperatures while delivering great guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in preparation guides, including salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps and parfait cups.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance and Leadership Roles.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
