Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a Kitchen Team Member who shares our passion for quality food, service, and community. In this Back-of-House role you’ll work with a dynamic team and help prepare our menu from scratch, including breads, pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with honest ingredients.

A successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, ability to multitask, and comply with food-handling and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a can-do attitude and the ability to work quickly and confidently to prepare items per specification.
• Ability to multitask and assist other departments when needed.
• Must comply with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule; shifts vary week to week.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meal items per specification in a timely, accurate manner.

A successful Back of House Kitchen Team Member at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards


• Flexible schedule standards -- Back of House Kitchen Team Member shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year


• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
