Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe in Utah is seeking a Kitchen Team Member who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. You will work with a dynamic team to prepare menu items from scratch baked bread and pastries, to soups, salads, and sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful candidate must be 18+ years old, stand for long periods, and have a flexible schedule. Morning/daytime availability is required, with both full-time and part-time shifts available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide friendly customer service at the counter and during meals.
• Ability to prepare meal items quickly and accurately per spec.
• Adapts to multitasking and supports other departments as needed.
• Must comply with local, state and federal food handling regulations.

Responsibilities

In the role of Kitchen Team Member, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Back of House Kitchen Team Member at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• A "can do" attitude- the ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
• Understand how to multitask- learn from mistakes & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked

A successful Back of House Kitchen Team Member at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Flexible schedule standards -- Back of House Kitchen Team Member shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
