Responsibilities

• Food Safety: Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handwashing, glove usage, and cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times. Follow cleaning schedules and end‑of‑shift cleaning procedures.
• Food Preparation: Follow Chick‑fil‑A’s recipes and preparation methods to ensure consistent and delicious food items are produced. This includes marinating, breading, grilling, and frying various menu items.
• Cooking Expertise: Operate equipment, i.e. fryers, grills & ovens, with precision to cook items to correct temperature & quality.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality before using them in food preparation. Maintain standards for taste, appearance, and portion control.
• Speedy Execution: Work efficiently to ensure fast preparation of orders during peak periods, collaborating with team members to maintain a steady workflow.
• Order Accuracy: Communicate with the front‑of‑house team to ensure accurate order preparation, including special requests, modifications, and allergen considerations.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, notifying supervisors when items are running low to prevent shortages.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow kitchen team members, demonstrating effective communication and teamwork to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Learning and Development: Participate in training and skill‑building opportunities to enhance culinary skills and menu knowledge
