Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to master food preparation, grill meats, and train future Kitchen Leaders. The role focuses on delivering delicious, safely prepared meals while maintaining an organized, well-stocked kitchen and strong team dynamics.

You will ensure quality, cleanliness, and safety, guide Crew members, and uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy. This on-site position offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced, customer‑centric environment.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma
• Have restaurant experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolving quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized and equipment is maintained.
• Mitigate injuries by ensuring kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
