RAINMAKER TEAM LLC in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our restaurant kitchen and ensure the highest standards of food preparation. You will oversee kitchen staff, maintain safety and cleanliness, manage inventory, and help shape menus and pricing in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1.5+ years in a kitchen management or similar leadership role, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of cost control and inventory

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a kitchen manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment and food safety guidelines
• Knowledge of inventory management and cost control
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards, including adhering to food safety guidelines and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
• Develop and implement menus and specials, as well as adjust pricing as needed
• Monitor food and labor costs to ensure profitability
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including adhering to cleaning schedules and safety protocols
• Other duties as assigned
