Castle Hill Inn, part of Newport Restaurant Group, is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee food preparation, kitchen, pantry and storeroom teams at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, RI. The role emphasizes high-volume line work, quality execution, cleanliness and leadership.

You will supervise BOH staff, manage inventory, and support the Exec. Sous Chef with production as needed. Competitive compensation and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (training offered if needed).
• Must hold a Food Safety Certification.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitors ordering, receiving and storage of all food and catering related items.
• Executes and verifies month end inventories to ensure accurate cost controls.
• Supervises back of house employees to ensure proper food handling, cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
• Assist Exec. Sous Chef with food production as needed.
