Join The Delta by Marriott Toledo as a kitchen team member responsible for maintaining health and safety standards across shifts. You will handle food prep, ensure proper plating, and help manage inventory for breakfast, dinner, and banquet items.

The role requires at least 1 year of cooking experience and a high school diploma (preferred). This in-person position offers benefits and is based in Toledo, OH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of cooking experience preferred.
• Experience in a kitchen/food prep environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety standards are met by all kitchen staff throughout each shift.
• Ensure food handling, prep and plating are safe and consistent.
• Assist with keeping an overall inventory of all food items used by the kitchen staff.
• Prevent shortages of breakfast, dinner, and banquet items.
• Establish and maintain safe food storage throughout the kitchen and storage areas.
• Check and validate all deliveries; report discrepancies.
• Store deliveries in appropriate locations promptly and properly label items.
