Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel is seeking an experienced line cook to help maintain safe food handling and high-quality plated dishes. You will work full-time on an 8-hour evening shift, with Monday to Friday responsibilities and weekend availability.

You will monitor safety standards, assist with inventory, verify deliveries, label foods, and store items properly to support our casual dining and banquet operations.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety standards are met by kitchen staff during shifts.
• Ensure food is handled, prepped and plated safely and consistently.
• Assist with inventory of all food items used by kitchen staff.
• Prevent shortages of breakfast, dinner, and banquet items.
• Maintain safe storage of food items in storage areas and closets.
• Check deliveries and report discrepancies.
• Store deliveries promptly in correct locations.
• Label open/prepared foods and store properly.
